What are Kids' Clubs?

Club programs at Westminster Presbyterian Church are intended to guide children age 4 to grade 6 to develop Christian character and build relationships with God, family, peers, and caring adults. Our mission is to serve God by discipling children to follow Christ in every aspect of life.

Parents are encouraged to participate in club activities with their children.

Clubs are held each Wednesday evening 6:30 – 7:30 pm, September through May.

Club Age Groups

Kids’ Quest Catechism Club (Room 121)

For boys and girls ages 4 and 5

Catechizing is a tried and effective tool to teach the foundations of faith and has been used throughout church history. Our goal is to teach our children to know, love, and serve God. Activities include singing, crafts, games, and making new friends.

* Kids’ Quest is free

Scooters (Room 120)

For boys and girls in kindergarten

Our goal in Scooters club is to learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to know His Word, make new friends, and have fun! Activities include singing, scripture memorization, games, crafts, and more!

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior)

For girls in grades 1 to 6

GEMS I: Grades 1 to 3 (Room 122)

Girls participate in organized activities through which friendships naturally begin to develop. They will learn that God is their Creator and that He calls them to know Him as their Heavenly Father. Activities include crafts, service projects, and stories from the Bible.

GEMS II: Grades 4 to 6 (Room 213)

Girls begin to understand that God has created them for a purpose and that they can make a difference in the world by using the gifts and talents God has given them. Activities include crafts, service projects, and application of God’s Word in their lives.

Pioneer Boys

For boys in grades 1 to 6

Voyagers: Grades 1 to 2 (Room 118/119)

Boys will study Bible stories, memorize scripture, play games, make crafts, and build new friendships.

Pathfinders: Grades 3 to 4 (In the Ministry Annex building)

Trailblazers: Grades 5 to 6 (In the Ministry Annex building)

Boys in both Pathfinders and Trailblazers Clubs will study Bible stories, memorize scripture, participate in skill-building activities, play games, and build friendships. NEW this year: Pathfinder and Trailblazer boys are to meet in the Gathering Space by 6:25 pm. A teacher will walk the boys to the Ministry Annex building as a group. If boys are running late, they must be accompanied by an adult to the building. Boys will be walked back to the gym after clubs. Plan to pick up in the gym.
