All individuals who wish to volunteer for a ministry that has interaction with children is required by Pennsylvania state law to perform a background check. In addition, a volunteer application must be filled out for Session approval.
All background checks are free for volunteers and need to be renewed every 5 years…
In addition to completing the Volunteer Application and the Arrest or Conviction Form, please complete the forms below.
Child Abuse Clearance: https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS — Child Abuse Clearance (You will need to create a login with a username {Keystone ID} & password before you can fill out the clearance.) You will receive an email when your certificate is ready.

Fingerprinting: ONLY if you have NOT lived in PA for the last 10 consecutive years –
Please go to the IdentoGo website (https://uenroll.identogo.com) to register and schedule an appointment. The service code for volunteers is 1KG6ZJ. Once you enter the code, it will prompt you to register. When you complete the registration portion, you will be able to schedule an appointment to get your fingerprints taken. There will be a fee of $23.25 for fingerprinting. Please keep the receipt and submit it to Kerri Rogers. You will be reimbursed.
Fingerprinting usually takes about 1-2 weeks to process. When you receive the certificate in the mail please bring in a copy for our records or scan and email to [email protected].
