Summer is almost here and the women’s events committee has organized some fun things for ladies to do in the next few months. From group walks to art classes to a Christmas in July tea—we hope there is something for everyone! Please note that many of these events have limited participation numbers, so don’t wait to register! Registration is for WPC women only.

Group Walks

June 4 | 6:30 PM, at Middle Creek
100 Museum Rd, Stevens
We will meet at the Visitor Center parking lot and do a moderate 1.5 mile hike on the conservation trail. Host Contact: Janel Horst
June 18 | 8:00 AM, at Warwick Township Municipal Campus
315 Clay Road, Lititz
We will walk a portion of the Warwick to Ephrata Rail Trail. This is a level paved path that extends through both wooded and open field areas. We will keep our total walk to 3 miles or less. We will plan to walk for about one hour. Host Contact: Sue Moses

Beginning Ballet

Susquehanna Dance Center (120 College Ave, Mountville)
Enjoy a simple, beginner ballet class with Isabella Williams. No previous experience necessary. Maximum of 16 participants.

Watercolor Class
June 30 | 9:00 AM–Noon
Room 126 at Westminster Presbyterian Church
Explore painting the background to create a sandy ocean floor, then, painting seashells on the floor of your ocean. Shells can be embellished with iridescent paints to add shimmer and sheen. When completed, the painting can be cut into bookmarks to mark your spot in your favorite summer read. No experience required. All art supplies will be provided. Maximum of 25 participants.

Flower Arranging

The home of Mindy Shea (1909 New Holland Pike, Lancaster)
Join our casual flower arranging class for a fun, whimsical, and creative experience where you’ll learn simple techniques, play with fresh blooms, and design a beautiful arrangement to take home. Maximum of 12 participants.
