ACTIVITIES
The Sanctity of Life Ministry conducts a wide range of activities to help reestablish a biblical culture of life in our community and nation. These activities fall under three core initiatives:
Education:
Provide information, education, and encouragement on the sanctity and dignity of all human life to congregants through adult education, youth worldview conferences, films, presentations, field trips, etc.
Mobilization:
Broaden and encourage action by the body of Christ by sharing best practices, lessons learned, and encouragement with Sanctity of Life Ministries and those interested in establishing a Sanctity of Life Ministry at churches in our community and Presbytery. And coordinate parishioner participation in events that declare Biblical truth on the sanctity of human life and summer youth work projects at life affirming local ministries like pregnancy centers.
Outreach:
Conduct prayer vigils, sidewalk counselling for abortion vulnerable women, and healing Bible studies for those wounded emotionally and spiritually by abortion. And coordinate materials, support, and advertising for events and volunteer opportunities for life affirming ministries that serve our community.
