Tucker, a native of Spring, Texas, married Stacy in 1998, earned his Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University, his Master of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary.
Tucker has been at Westminster Presbyterian Church as Associate Pastor since 2003 with his wife and seven children.
As Executive Pastor, Tucker ensures that ministries are in keeping with the church’s mission, that policies are followed, and that strategic planning and goal-setting are pursued. Under the direction of Session and the Senior Pastor, Tucker oversees personnel matters for staff and coordination of ministries.
As Acting Missions Pastor, Tucker leads Westminster’s efforts to mobilize people for global outreach which includes partnering with long-term cross-cultural missionaries in several dozen locations, sending short-term mission teams annually to serve and learn about needs on the field, and developing cross-cultural missionaries from our congregation.
Tucker mentions a life verse from Philippians 3:7-8, “Whatever was to my profit I now consider a loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.”
