Matthew grew up in Laconia, New Hampshire. After high school he served in the Air Force as a mechanic on the F-15 fighter jet for several years. It was during his time in the military that he began to sense the Lord’s call on his life to the ministry. And after receiving his BA in History from University of Massachusetts Amherst, he studied and graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, receiving his Master of Divinity in 2019. While living in Philadelphia, Matthew met his wife, Sue. They have been happily married since 2017 and have two children, Noah and Henry.
In 2020 Matthew was called to be Westminster’s Youth Pastor. He enjoys serving among Westminster’s students and their families to the glory of God.
His favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
