Ways To Give
At Westminster, we exercise Stewardship individually through giving of time and money and we exercise Stewardship corporately through the wise and generous use of the gifts given by the congregation.
Give with credit card or by ACH. Give one time or set up a recurring gift.
The offering plate is available at all worship services. Cash and checks are appropriate in the offering plate.
WPC provides any member or regular attender with a box of numbered giving envelopes upon request. Envelopes help to streamline gift processing and recording as well as provide more confidentiality to the giver. Generic envelopes are also available in sanctuary pews.

Most banks offer “bill pay” services. Coordinate with your bank to send a one-time gift or recurring gifts to WPC through the mail. Please make fund designations in the memo line whenever possible.
WPC is a qualified charitable organization that allows for direct IRA distributions. Please contact your financial planner. Mutual Funds & Stocks — WPC receives both mutual fund and stock gifts in any amount. If you wish to make this gift, please contact the Finance Office for the necessary transaction information.
WPC can be named as a beneficiary in your will, living trust or estate. Your financial planner can contact the Finance Office with necessary documents. WPC can also be named as a beneficiary on insurance policy or financial accounts.
Some employers offer gift matching incentive programs. Talk to your employer’s Human Resources department to see if there are any programs available.

Budget Funds Structure
DESIGNATED FUNDS
The following is a broad overview of the structure of gifts received and used at Westminster Presbyterian Church. We hope it helps you as you give in 2024. Please direct any questions to Finance & HR Coordinator, June Robinson.
Giving to the General Fund supplies our entire Missions budget and most ministries and operation of Westminster Church. Our 2023 Budget is $3.70 million
Giving to Designated Funds supplies our ministries and operation of the church that are funded outside of the budget are listed below. Contributions designed below help these ministries continue.
Facilities & Equipment — Our 2023 Budget is $172,000. Gifts to this fund are used for equipment, major repairs and property improvement (parking lot paving, copiers, etc.).
Benevolence Fund Gifts are used to provide compassionate financial assistance to those in the church body who have financial emergencies.
Radio funds are used to pay expenses associated with producing and airing the weekly Sunday morning broadcast of the Westminster Pulpit on WDAC radio.
Christian Education Scholarship funds are invested to provide income which is used to award scholarships for K– 12th grade Christian education.
Special Offering & Opportunities are designated in advance by Session and open only for a limited time. Offerings are provided to a particular project and collected throughout the year, generally in the time surrounding Missions Conference, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Watch your weekly bulletin for details throughout the year.
